Our Beginning

Live Again Christian Outreach, Inc. was organized in the State of Michigan February 2006. During the time of independent study, our founder Elder Dirk Evans was co-commissioned in conjunction with the Citadel of Praise Church, Straight Gate Church, and various community organizations to respond to the care of the survivors of hurricane "Katrina" who were displaced to the Detroit metropolitan area.

While under the direction of a local Detroit radio station 92.3 FM, Elder Evans was privileged to assist in the organization of a benefit Gospel concert appropriately entitled "Live Again." The concert was created and spearheaded by Program Director Jamillah Muhammad honoring the courage, vitality, and thriving spirits of the survivors of "Katrina." The effort of "Live Again" greatly inspired many of the survivors, rekindling hope in their hearts to make a fresh start-it was nothing less than a miracle!

The lives of Katrina's survivors suffered a devastating blow! To say the very least, their life style was completely changed, for they were presented with an unsolicited rearrangement of life, they had to re adapt, reorganize, and by the help of God make a fresh start to Live Again . . .!

After over 20 years of experience in organizing outreach efforts, and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit Elder Evans was moved in his heart to establish Live Again Christian Outreach, Inc. "It is our objective, according to the will of God in the person of Jesus Christ to continually do nothing less than what was given to the survivors of hurricane "Katrina"-reaching out, building up, and empowering lives of individuals to Live Again," says Elder Evans.

To see the life changing truth of the Holy Bible transform, encourage, and enlighten individual lives, thus reaping the full benefit of being in covenant relationship with God in the person of Jesus Christ.

Our Belief

• We believe the Bible was written by Holy men of God while under the inspiration of the divine Spirit of the one true God, and it is His written revelation of Himself to mankind.
  
  
• We believe there are three persons of the triune Godhead (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit)-constituting the one true God, who is timeless, self sustained and infinitely superior to any god personality.
  
  
• We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary and conceived by the Holy Spirit, who in fact lived, bled at Calvary's cross, died and was buried, then was resurrected on the third day, and yet lives today.
  
  
• We believe that Jesus Christ was 100% human, yet equally and completely the divine Son of the triune Godhead (God).
  
  
• We believe that faith in Jesus Christ is the only way to achieve an eternally peaceful existence with the one true God.
  
  
• We believe that Jesus Christ will soon appear in the sky, calling the believers of His corporeal body of the earth to Himself, thus forever remaining with Him.
  
  
• We believe the life, death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ is the ultimate sacrifice redeeming all who sincerely believe from the penalty of any transgressions, iniquities or sins.
